About Engineers Conclave

The Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) has taken an initiative of organizing an annual mega event of engineers as “Engineers Conclave” starting from the year 2013, which is being organized by INAE jointly with major engineering institutions like Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Department of Space (DoS), Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and other engineering institution on rotational basis, each year. Each Conclave focuses on two themes from the point of view of finding engineering solutions and specific recommendations formulated for action by the concerned government department and Industry. Theme-I is selected by the host agency, specific to its area of activity and Theme-II is selected by INAE, something of immediate relevance to the society.

The objective of organizing of Engineers Conclave is to provide a forum to identify issues of National importance, debate the same in a structured manner and try to find the right solutions with appropriate engineering interventions. Engineers Conclave has tangible delivery in suggesting suitable engineering solutions and reach out the same to the right stakeholders and also to the policy makers of the country.

The 10th Engineers Conclave 2023 (EC-2023) of Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) is being organized jointly by UGC-DAE Consortium for Scientific Research (UGC-DAE CSR) in association with Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT) at Indore. The Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore are the partner institutes of EC-2023. The two themes of EC-2023 are, Theme I: Laser Technology for Emerging Engineering Challenges. and Theme II: Role of Engineering and Technology for Clean and Green India @2047.
